Lake Day

This summer weather hasn't been the greatest, but we finally had a HOT day at the lake!

I spent my day playing with water toys...

Rolling in the inner tube...

Fishing with my cousin...

Fishing with Poppy...

And splashing-slash-bossing my friends, the twins!

Hooray for 80 degree Sundays!

Visitors

Two of our favorite fun people stayed with us on their way to the Olympic Peninsula.

We ate dinner outside.

This one drank a little bit o' wine...

And showed me how to do the perfect backbend. Score: 10!

Thanks, Carol and Tom, for the cool twirly stick and Alice in Wonderland doll!
Love you guys!

Happy Birthday, America!

I'm a Yankee Doodle Sweetheart.

I love the Grand Old Flag.

I can also be a Yankee Doodle Scheister.

We had a bar-b-que out at Gramma & Poppy's. Gramma and I always take a 4th of July pic out on the deck. Check this out in the blog archives in past years!

I had to take a pic with Poppy too!

Gramma & Auntie Barbie paddled my friends and I out to the lilypads.

Daddy lit my first sparkler.

Abracadoodle! Make the house dis-a-toodle!

Um-kay. Maybe I'm done. Sparkler ADD.

The fireworks were a continual display of sight and sound. Oooooh, pretty!!!

Happy birthday, America!

Hi Tom, Hi!!!

I could hardly wait to get to Montana so I could say, "Hi Tom, Hi!!!"

The Renegade Flower Girl Turns a Corner on her Flower Girl Gigs...

Look! I'm now a flower girl who can follow a wedding photographer's directions! Two years ago I was a renegade flower girl who screamed in the church and refused to walk down the aisle. Well, that was the old days, my friends. I have turned the corner on the whole flower girl job.

Austin and I posed standing still...

Walking hand in hand down the lane...

I giggled when the photographer told me to kiss Austin's cheek. He cooperated nicely...

We skipped...(with my hair all askew...)

And then I got to pose with the princess of the day: Cousin Carly. Big Alice and Little Alice.

Congratulations to the beautiful bride and groom! Your wedding couldn't have been more perfect!

Cheers to many, many years of happiness!

Montana, We Love You!

What's not to love about this???

After Cousin Carly's wedding, we spent some time at Nana's house. Her lilacs were soooooo beautiful!

Then we went to my cousins' house for a couple'a days to play.

What a bunch of crazy boys!

I had my first ride on a go-cart. We also went to the waterslides with the boys and it took me allllllllll day to finally go on a big slide.

Then we went to my aunt and uncle's lake house with Barbie and Lauren.

Look at this cute little art corner Aunt Betty Ann has for the kids!

Ahh, somebody fetch me a lemonade...
Montana, we love you!
