Daddy's Tractor

When Daddy was a little boy, he rode this John Deere tractor around Gramma and Grampa Thompson's back yard.

He's a little big for it now!

Happy Easter!

Easter was GORGEOUS this year!  After a basket full of goodies and church, we spent Easter Sunday out at Gramma and Poppy's.  I wanted to go swimming with the boys, but all they would let me do by the lake was blow bubbles.

I hunted eggs and LOVED the golden egg!

Maybe nobody will see me eating these noodles before dinner starts...

I played croquet with the big boys and held my own in the game!

Straight shooter.

Happy Easter!

The Second Easter Egg Hunt of the Season

It was another gorgeous weekend for an Easter egg hunt!

The field of eggs was cleared within a matter of minutes.  Here's my haul:

Like the first Easter egg hunt, I took time to play on the monkey bars.

My friends and I think we're prettttttty coooool!

Ellie and I played in her backyard and said, "Best. Day. Ever!"

The Olympic Mountains across the water were BEAUTIFUL!

We're ready for Easter!

Decorating

I decided to make a bunny house instead of Easter cookies this year.  Kind of a like a gingerbread house, but with bunnies.

The beautiful finished product with LOTS of frosting!

I dyed eggs with crayon names and designs before I dipped them.

Mine:

Daddy's:

Mommy's eggs are the two empty spots because she ate them!

The First Easter Egg Hunt of the Season

We lucked out with sunny weather for our neighborhood Easter egg hunt.

Ready, set, go!

Here's one with my name on it!

Pause for a monkey bar break...

The treasure...

More treasure and a very happy hunter!

Annual Bunny Pic

Look at this little fluffy cutie...so furry and soft.  I'm pretty sure he wanted to come home with me!

Peeps Project

My school has an annual Peeps contest.  My project was the book "Goodnight Moon" which we made it into "Goodnight Peeps!"  I had so much fun painting, drawing, cutting paper, gluing, and molding clay into little things from the book.

I won for my grade level!  Yay, Peeps!

March Birthdays

We celebrated Poppy's and Mommy's birthdays out at the lake last week.  It was so beautiful, I had to play on the beach!

The birthday boy!

Gramma made two kinds of pie:  Vegetable (Pumpkin...Mommy's favorite) and Chocolate (my favorite!)

Laying Goldy to Rest

My pet Beta fish, Goldy, died last fall.  We decided to keep him in the morgue (AKA the garage freezer) until we could take him out to Gramma and Poppy's to be buried.

I dug a little hole in Gramma and Poppy's garden...

Poppy helped me...

We placed him gently in the ground and covered him with soil.

Here is Goldy's final resting place.     Rest in peace, Goldy!
