Christmas Day at Gramma's

We went out to Gramma's on Christmas Day.

And opened more presents!  Hungry, Hungry Hippos...hurray!

I love my cousins.

And they just LOVE IT when I try and smooch on them!

They helped me with my games.

Mommy made these Noels for the ladies.

Daddy and I shared chocolate pie...the BEST!

And Poppy won the award for the most pie piled onto one little plate!

Christmas Morning

Look!  Santa ate his cookies and left a note!

He brought me an Easy Bake Oven!

And a Barbie Baker and Styling Head!

And he even knew I needed some new mechanical pencils for drawing.  Hmmm....Santa is pretty smart.

Baking red velvet cupcakes at 7 AM.

And putting the finishing touches on my lovely little cupcakes!

Christmas Eve

Gramma let me open a couple of Christmas Eve presents.  I love this Lego and friends set from Matt and Colleen!

New kitty named "Licorice" for my American Girl doll.

And best of all, I had ice cream after I put on my jammies!

Christmas Eve Church

This smile was all I could muster...

I'm Dreaming of a Chocolately Christmas

Visions of Sugarplums danced in my head...

Lefse with Poppy

On December 23rd, I made lefse with Poppy.

Poppy turns his round perfectly.

Poppy's an engineer.  Look at his side-by-side comparison of two lefse recipes.   We used the Thompson family recipe.

First you roll out the potato dough...

Then you let it cook on a griddle...

Then carefully flip it with your lefse turner.

Mommy helped too.  Years ago, she learned to make lefse with her Lutheran girlfriends when they were in high school.

Can you tell which one is mine???

Gingerbread House

I worked like an elf in Santa's workshop to make this gingerbread house today.

And then this big elf came and started eating it!

I was a bunhead today at the Christmas Recital, dancing to "Somewhere in My Memory" from the movie "Home Alone."

Red Robin

I could hardly wait to go to Red Robin on my birthday.    Love this Barbie car from Mommy and Daddy!

Chocolate milkshake connoisseurs.

Gramma and Poppy gave me an American Girl puppy named "Honey."  He's so cute!

The waiters sang "Happy Birthday" to me....I talked about this all day....but I was a little shy when the moment arrived.

Arty Party

I celebrated my 6th birthday with friends and family at Color Me Mine Pottery.

I blew out my candles on a little Tinkerbell cake.

You didn't have to ask me twice to say "Cheese!"  (Very Cheesy...)

I painted a princess mirror and a plate with my handprint and all of my friends' fingerprints.

Hugs for my Ellie.

Gramma and Poppy came.

And Poppy snuggled with the babies.

All the kids painted a piece of pottery.

My cousins helped me celebrate too.

Ready to blow out the candles!

We ate lollipops and had our faces painted.

And I opened a ton of great presents.   I'm a lucky kid!

Naughty or Nice?

Fingers crossed that I've been nice enough to get an Easy Bake Oven!

November

November was a fun-filled month.   First, Gramma and Poppy took me to Disney on Ice.  What a beautiful show!

Then, our friends came over to watch the Montana rivalry football game.   MSU kicked some heiney. Go Cats!   (And even though I cheered for the Bobcats that day and wore a Go Cats shirt, I made it perfectly clear that I'd rather be cheering for the Huskies....)

Nana came for Thanksgiving and we made snickerdoodles.

I created lots of beautiful art, including this crayon and watercolor of my Betta fish, Goldy.

I entered this piece of art in the PTA Reflections Art Show.  The theme was "The Magic of the Moment" so I named this "The Magic of Tooth Fairy Sparkles."
