My mom is headed back to school to teach afternoons this year. Here I am practicing my chalkboard skills at the lake. I'll show those big kids how it's done!
Today my friend Elsa and I played and danced to two of our favorite songs: "Head and Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and "The Hokey Pokey." We loved pointing to our heads. The table was my stage, much to my mom's dismay.....but did that stop her from snapping pictures? Noooo!
So much sunscreen, so little time! As I mentioned in my previous post, we just got back from a vacation in beautiful, sunny Montana. Our second part of the trip was spent at Flathead Lake visiting family, including my Nana & Papa and cousins Grant & Elle. Elle is just a week younger than I am so our moms think it's soooooo cute to dress us alike and try to make us sit still for pics. In these pics you can see me at the helm of Brian's sailboat, playing with a little fishy, collecting pinecones for my Nana, attempting to put on sunscreen all by myself, and posing for pics with Elle. All in a days' work! (Well....4 days!)
We just got back from a little vacation in Montana...our first stop was Fairmont Hot Springs with the Buechler family. I swam, watched the ducks, and ate 5 pieces of licorice at one time while my mom tried to chase me down! (see pic with pink coverup and plaid hat.) I loved the warm water there and had loads of fun with Lauren and Auntie Barbie!
I've been spending soooo much time out at Gramma and Grampa's lake. They have a little seal named Sammy who used to make me cry (I thought he was scary.) Sammy and I are now good buddies, and I like to ride him and put this lovely string of beads around his neck.
My mom gives me rides in her "red boat" out at the lake. Depends on my mood, but I usually say, "More, more!" (I've been known on occasion to say, "Back, back!")
